Pesticides: Eating organic really does make a difference

This video from Sweden, where they probably already eat healthier than here in the U.S., demonstrates how quickly you can detox organic contaminants by changing your food sources.  And the especially impressive drop in the urinary pesticides in the children when eating organic is certainly motivating.   As pesticides are a well known factor for promoting inflammation and carcinogenic changes, clearing them should be considered as important as reducing cholesterol, or cancer screening.  Definitely food for thought!

Unfortunately, the video on this which I originally posted has since been deleted, but here is a chart showing the dramatic reductions of urinary pesticide levels for the daughter in this family, with levels before and after three weeks of an organic sourced diet.

What was particularly impressive was the higher levels in the children (related to their smaller body mass) and also how well they cleared on a pesticide free diet.  Children are in a physical and intellectual growth surge until their late teens.  This would be the ideal time to optimize health, while developing healthier lifelong eating habits.
